Pretty cool to see a group of osprey right outside our window fishing in the Atlantic. God’s creation is incredible.

A great big thank you for our friend Kole Musgrove, who got us in touch with representative Michael Baumgartner’s office for a tour of the capitol! Our tour guide’s name was Lindsey, a recent grad from Pepperdine University, the home for her is Staten Island. (Of course, her boyfriend is from Seattle… And she and Nikki were definitely sharing California girl vibes!)

Very cool to sit in the chambers of both the Senate and the House and see our government in action.

From the seriousness of honoring fallen police officers from across the country to the real life-ness of one senator complementing another senator in his handsome orange tie.

So many sites and statues and even emotions thinking about the events past and present that have happened on these grounds.Les mer
