Queenstown - Lake Tekapo

Today officially marked the start of our road trip up the North and South Islands! We picked up our car and said goodbye to Queenstown, weaving through the Alpine pass to our first stop Lake Wānaka to see that tree!

After a pie and some L&P (NZ staples) our next stop was the Clay Cliffs, a filming location that felt out of this world, accessed via a 6km dirt track.

Next we drove to Lake Pukaki for the crystal blue waters and amazing views of Mount Cook! And finally arrived in the beautiful Lake Tekapo - our home for a couple of nights!Weiterlesen
