    This forestry was amazing. I believe I was in a temperate rainforest as all the ferns, moss, lichen, liverwort, and other ancient humidity loving plants were overtaking the trunks of the tree and covering all the rocks and stones. It was something out of Middle-earth, and I was a place I was reluctant to move on from. The road goes ever on my friend.Læs mere

    San Miguel was charming township with a small church, but a large graveyard with family named mausoleums with generations laid to rest. This was unlike any other church I have encountered on this trip, and it stood out. There were a couple of older women who were caretaking and cutting flowers at the tombs. Was raining off and on today, so I took the opportunity to catch up on my picture taking.Læs mere

    170 miles hiking with a 25-pound backpack and a fortnight later, I have finally at last reached my end goal of the Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela. Such a once in a lifetime changing incredible experience, I felt strange not having another 15 miles to go the next day. During celebration dinner, I saw Allison Rose, whom I met on my very first day of the Camino, and here she was at the finish line waiting to eat at the very same restaurant.Læs mere

    Cathedral Museum of Santiago de Compostela a World Heritage Site in Galicia, Spain. The cathedral is the reputed burial place of Saint James the Great, one of the apostles of Jesus Christ. Contruction began in 1075 and continued through the 11th and 12th centuries before its final completion and opening in 1211.Læs mere
