This segment was flatter and more open than the previous segments - more like prairie. Sunday and Monday’s trail segments were mostly forested, going up and down glacial eskers.

I stopped here for lunch today, and previously, on Tuesday. It was a good place to fill up water bottles. There was not a soul here on Tuesday. Today I saw a few riders passing through.

I encountered 3, maybe 4 vistas on my hike. As much as I enjoy being able to see for miles, none were particularly photogenic. This one features some kind hydraulic works in the center.
