Spent the night in the Scuppernong segment, now back on the Eagle Segment. Tomorrow I’ll be hiking the Stony Ridge, Blue Spring Lake and Blackhawk segments.
I stopped here for lunch today, and previously, on Tuesday. It was a good place to fill up water bottles. There was not a soul here on Tuesday. Today I saw a few riders passing through.

I encountered 3, maybe 4 vistas on my hike. As much as I enjoy being able to see for miles, none were particularly photogenic. This one features some kind hydraulic works in the center.
