Thanks to ChatGPT I now know that this is an Asturian hórreo (a traditional grain store) specific to the region of Asturias, northern Spain. Most have looked very old but this one was built in 2019.

Day 20 hostel ‘Hotel El Sueve, Colunga’ (small hotel). Easy walk in the sun was nice after a couple of windy, cloudy and rainy days. Lots of small beaches along the way.

Day 15 hostel ‘Nomada Hostel, San Vincente de la Barquera’ (see my reflection?). Like all good hostels when I arrived in town I still had one more hill to climb 😂
