Day 5 hostel, Albergue de Peregrinos Gerekiz. Paid is definitely better than municipal/religious. This one feels like a home and there is a dinner and breakfast for €18.
MatkaajaThis time is definitely different from the Portuguese. I’m inclined to carry something easy for lunch and in this part of Spain the food culture is different - lots of bars offering limited bar food and no real restaurant service until after 8:00pm, and not the same style of restaurants we experienced before. I could be losing a bit of weight as a result 😂
MatkaajaWhat do you usually carry with you? A sandwich? Or is it kind of snack foods?
