• Rua do Almada, our street for a couple of days.
This Porto bridge was designed by the same dude as the Eiffel tower.Traditional Portugese tiling, a few great examples around that are hard to appreciate on camera.

Well, a quick start to the day with an alarm set to 3.30 am to catch the plane from Madrid to Portugal.
Unfortunately, after being awake earlier, we both slept through it.
Fortunately, the old dairy farmers' skills woke me up two minutes before the taxi was due. Seven minutes later, we'd packed, gone by elevator (3 mins) down 5 floors, and were in the taxi and off. Phew.
A great piece of luck at the Porto airport as a local guide (off duty) helped us out with the metro and then walked us right to our front door . Outstanding guy.
Unfortunately...a few people have left out key information when giving instructions, but Fortunately, no complete disasters yet!
Enjoyed an hour in the Sun catching our breath, and a late breakfast of Portugals finest baking...icing sugar everywhere but pretty nice. A walking tour this arvo (in our first rain) was as usual great, and our day was done with a waterfront wander along the river.
Tip: - Don't set your alarm in a different room to where you're sleeping 😴.
Don't bury your laptop in your carry-on even though it's not ever been a problem in security....3 trips through the scanner and a drug swab, I'll remember this one.
