Sintra day trip x Lisbon

Back on the train and metro...successfully!
A day trip to Sentra along with half of the population of Germany, Italy, and Asia. Trains were packed both ways.
A must-see, though, very scenic and picturesque. Amazingly, I passed for over 65 ( who needs the gold card) to bring entry prices to merely extortionate levels.
With single lane roads, I thought it was quicker to walk, which probably didn't go down well with my team....a bit of a climb to that castle on the hilltop. Well worth it, though.
Tip: Don't travel on metro in rush hour... I counted 10 people in about 1.5 sq m. There may have been more! Czytaj więcej
