A dash to NSW. Needed to get through Vic without stopping. Got a permit to transit Vic from Renmark SA to Mildura. Didn’t stop anywhere. Joke is there was no checkpoints anywhere on the trip. Weather was atrocious. 8c and blowing a gale most of the way. Think it got up to 14c near Euston NSW but still gale force winds. Propping at Euston for the night, van rocking in the strong winds. Still

Day 51 Albury -Going Home

Weather is crap van copped a buffeting from strong winds and lashing rain overnight. We decided today to head home via Albury. Weather the whole day was bloody windy and cold. It did not get over 10c. Headed to Albury via Deniliquin (famous for the Ute muster). Mostly the road was crap, you don’t really notice it in a car but with a van in tow you really notice the dips and undulations. Was close to sleating when we arrived in Albury. Home. Cold drive from Albury to Canberra.

Don’t even ask the alcohol bill for the 52 days.
Covered a lot of Australia and had a shot load of fun. Back to reality now.
