Venice - Day 1, Part 1

Started off the day early after being woken up by kids on the playground at 7:30am. 😵 But that just meant for an earlier start! Arrived in Venice a little after 9 and went straight to our first point of interest...La Fenice Theater. It was our first time there and it was beautiful, definitely worth the visit. From there, we went to the spiral staircase of Palazzo Contarini del Bovolo, which was another first for us. For being "just" a staircase, it was really cool to climb the stairs and it had a great view of all the beautiful red rooftops of Venice as well as St. Mark's tower from the top.
