Our new sport of pink gin and inflatables. Unfortunately, Alex last seen heading to our next campsite at Pebble Beach on the coast. Guess I'm packing up the camper by myself tomorrow.

Accessible only at low tide, this campsite is pretty special. Our spot is literally 12 steps to the beach. Loads of pictures - truly awesome camping experience!

Boulder country. Great walking tracks and unique landscape amongst massive boulders. Our camp in the middle of Kangaroo highway, spot the Wallabies in the picks.

Out of the rain and a chance to recharge the camper trailers' batteries. Gorgeous old school rural pub - no bells and whistles but happily wiled away an afternoon playing pool, tasting the local Gin ( so good we're going to the still today) and good hearty pub food - oh and a bath to wash away 2 weeks of camping.Read more

Busy day today. Started in Kentucky NSW with purchase of small batch Gin from boutique distillery Dobsons ( check out their website). Big drive back over the great dividing range, laundry stop in Wauchope, then back to the coast at Kylies Beach. Beach for miles, figuee this is a good spot for focused beaching activities tomorrow.
On the way Alex went for bushwalk with the snakes, at Tia Falls, I stayed away from snakes and called for Alex at the point I thought he was over due and I was off down the track with anti-venom.Read more

What does this symbol mean on the navigation. System????
Bruce (Landcruiser) and Little Bruce (camper trailer) have first experience on coastal NSW ferries ( part of the roading around these parts).
Camp tonight is situated on spit of land between the ocean and Lake Myall. Super hot earlier today so have been hugging the shade.Read more

Severe thunderstorms across most of SE and central NSW. Great weather for camping! Little Bruce handled it like an absolute trooper ( even when the hurricane strength winds threatened to turn the canvas inside out! ). On the way to Tamworth Country Music festival now, torrential rain the whole way. Kitted out, Alex has a big buckle with rhinestones!Read more

When in Tamworth, go 'Country'. Initiation day wandering around Peel Street buskers, picking the acts we like then we'll head to a venue to watch them later in the feastival.

Travelled the back country roads of NSW south towards Sydney, parking up at the roadside at a free camp in small country town of Broke. Scenery of the Upper Hunter Valley between Tamworth and here absolutely stunning, Pastoral, vineyards, thoroughbred studs, and gigantic open cast mines - nice to be off the main highways.

Antique shop in Tamworth offered up a stunning find to add to the gem collection. 2 caret blue/green sapphire in matching setting to earlier ring purchase, an awesome discovery in an unexpected place.
