Day 12: Travel back Home to Atlanta

Given an early morning flight at 6 am and with us being away from the airport by an hour, we left around 3:45. Got to the airport, returned our cars and boarded the flight to Rome which was on time. In Rome, switched from Terminal 1 to 3 and got onto the 9:45 am flight to Atlanta. Flight was on time but the ride was very very bumpy at times. Theo hung out with Thatha and Naani quite a bit on the flight and he was fantastic.
Cleared immigration, customs and baggage in no time and were picked up by Abhishek and Trisha who breezed us back to our respective homes. Blessed beyond words for such a beautiful vacation made possible by the whole family especially the children.Read more
