Hiroshima

Arrived in Hiroshima. A friend had told me about the tides. So the first stop was Miyajima Island to see the giant tori that appears to be floating. At low tide you can see the mud flat it sits in. A lovely walk in relatively cooler temperatures. From here to the Peace Park. A beautiful tribute to those who died and to us reminding us of what destruction can do. The museum was so soul destroying. Let’s hope that really makes people think about what war does.Baca selengkapnya
