Halema‘Uma‘U Crater lava flow

After our hike on the Devastation Trail, we walked to see what there was going on at the active section of the Halema‘Uma‘U Crater eruption site. We got there shortly before sunset and had to wait a bit until it got dark enough, but you could still see the lava flow flowing a half mile away, even though the eruption itself had paused the night before.
