Monalena rest area

Moving day today and we are now sitting at Mona Lena. Rest area. Got the fire going ready to cook tea. Julie is feeling a little bit better today we’ve travelled about 450 kilometres. We left Bronwyn and Geoff . They were heading out to William Creek today and we’re heading south on the way home. We stopped at Glendambo for some fuel and lunch and then pulled over at Lake Hart and had a little bit of a look at that. Had plenty of water in it and saw a lot of horses in horse flights obviously going to or coming back from some Gymkhana event.
Lots of birdlife here we saw the Mulga parrot and the eastern blue Bonnet parrot, yellow throated miners, and some sort, of Kite that Julie will tell me about.Read more
