Huaihai Park by McKinsey Shanghai Office

So apparently the McKinsey Shanghai Office is Davy's new second favourite place in town - after Dashijie for deep fried pork chops that is! When asked why, he cites: friendly lady who speaks English well, high quality clean bathrooms, comfy waiting room seats, courteous security guards, free food and drinks. Meg has decided that she'd like to work there when she grows up, so long as she can still be an inventor.

Unfortunately we were so preoccupied in the moment that we forgot to take any photos of the office - not that we knew it was one of Davy's favourite spots at the time! We did however discover a beautiful park (Huaihai) across the street and took a few minutes there to wind down. It was great to see the locals out and about - strolling, training, playing chess, reading, etc. We even learned some new exercises to do with a single bar and snapped some nice shots of the sakura - so lucky that we picked this season to be in Asia.Leia mais
