SQS - A Swiss Quarantine Story

Fortunately we are living and being quarantined in Switzerland rather than France! In our Swiss-style lockdown state, there is still plenty of responsibility and independent interpretation left to the people. We are asked to stay home as much as possible, interacting only with members of our nuclear family units. However, we may also apply our individual judgement on holistic health and safety and decide, for instance, to stroll around outside in the fields, so long as we respect the critical social hygiene rules.

The French, on the other hand, are now limited to 1 hour per day spent outside, during which they must remain within a 1km radius of their registered addresses. A signed slip justifying the reason for being outside must be carried at all times, which may include exercising or dog-walking alone, purchasing essentials such as groceries or medicines, or traveling to work - which requires another certificate from the employer attesting as to why said work cannot be done remotely.Okumaya devam et
