Today we visit the oldest stave church in Norway crossing the Lusterfjorden on a ferry to Ornes.
We then transfer to Molden Mountain we we get fantastic views of the Fjord and Glaciers
Molden Mt, only 3661’ but pretty stark, cold and windy. Glad for the hit at the top to take a break out of the wind. Views coming and going’s with the clouds/fog 2000’ gain and loss.
Rode with the group to Flåm, passed overt the car ferry. Some stayed and took the ferry, continued on the Flåmsbana railway up 3000 feet. Rick Steves stated that this was most scenic railway in theLäs mer
Easy day in Flåm, my excellent vintage guesthouse for 2 nights, a floating Sauna session with several cold plunges in the 55*f fjord.
Didn’t do to much this morning, 3;30 -9:00 ferry to Bergen. Mostly rain.
