World tour

We went for massages at Ketut’s again today. Dale joined us this time but unfortunately Balinese massage tables don’t come in Dale-size and Ketut’s didn’t quite have the luxurious vibe he’s grown accustomed to, but at $12 for a 1.5 hour massage he survived. We ate lunch at our favourite Waroeng Legi. Note for next time: stick to the nasi goreng and avo coffee. Nothing good comes from the curry.

It was a swim-up pool bar kind of vibe in the evening so we watched the sunset with rainbow cocktails in the pool.

Robyn and Steve had been reminiscing of Bali from 1975 so we went to the original Aussie street in Kuta, Poppies Lane and ate dinner at Poppies restaurant which serves the same seafood ala king from the 70s.

Kylie, Dale, Keyala and Bino then decided Monday was a great night to hit the clubs of Kuta. A few 2 for 1 cocktails and some dodgy dance floor people watching and we decided the Monday night Kuta club scene wasn’t our scene and we called it a night before 12.Weiterlesen
