Unexpectedly, rented bikes for the day to explore the old town which is high above the city, paved in cobblestones and very crowded today. Five cruise ships in town and the first beautiful day of spring weather in this area. Can't wait to get away from the tour groups to cycle through some local greenspaces. Having lunch at Mad Murphy's Irish pub, local beer and our own version of the Mad Murphy's, Pete and Jean Murphy, our neighbors in NY. Hope everyone is enjoying lovely spring weather.En savoir plus

Judy LyterHooray for having a lovely spring day and a bike ride! "Mad Murphy's" - so funny, considering your companions. Please say "hi" from me -- and to Dan, of course. BTW back at the beginning of all this, I might have accidentally sent a follow request to one of the Sharons when I was checking whether I was listed. So if she sees this, sorry for the goof. I'm sure St. Petersburg will be amazing. Have some borscht perhaps.
