Palanga ranks HIGH on our list of cool communities. Definitely a tourist spot, but the beach was nice, there was a fantastically beautiful and large park, and we had a large, delicious meal at a French restaurant downtown. So large, in fact, that we only had the one meal a day! We stayed for a couple nights and were pleasantly surprised to wake up to a dog show in the adjcent field to our parking spot. We watched for a little bit, but left before Watson got too hot. We did meet "Reyna" the Bernese Mountain Dog tha was awarded Junior Champion of Ireland, among other BernersLue lisää
