World trip 2024

This is my review of the trip. I am writing it a few days after returning home.

In total we went on 12 planes. On each one I was worried that someone would say that Phanpy would be confiscated. We also went on 8 trains, and lots of subways. We also did soooo many Kilometres in the car.

My favourite thing was the Colosseum because it was so old and imposing. I also liked the baseball games in America.

My least favourite thing was being in the US because I did not feel very safe.

The smelliest thing was either the Sea Lions at Pier 39 or the canals in Venice.

What I missed the most is my friends and school. I missed my friends a lot. the reason I missed school is because I really like learning and I have great people who help me do that.

Something that was scary was being in the US because I thought people were going to shoot me.

Something really fun was being with Mama and Papa 24-7 and the ziplining.

What I thought would be different was Greece. I thought that the cities were surrounded by ruins. But in reality the ruins were outside the city.

The place I liked a lot is Lucca, my namesake. I felt safe there.

I really enjoyed the trip but I do not think I want to be away from home for that long again.

I went to school on Monday and they threw me a party. We had party pies and some lollies. There were also some new people in my support class.

On Tuesday we went to go see some puppies. Dompel had died in December 2023 before we went on the trip. During the trip we talked a lot about Dompel and how much we miss him. Mama had been on the lookout for a litter that would be ready around the time we got home. At first we were looking at Cobber Dogs. We wanted to get a good temperament dog that could possibly be a service dog for me to help keep me calm.
Even though Cobber Dogs are great for service dogs Mama was not sure about the grooming and doesn't like dogs with beards because they get wet faces all the time.
Mama found a breeder in Goulburn that had a litter of Golden Retriever cross Cavalier pups that would be ready to go 5 days after we got home. We organised to do a meet today so I could choose a puppy!!
I had seen photos of the pups and one stood out to me.

When Emily, the dog breeder, arrived at the café we were meeting at she had a crate with 5 puppies. They were all curled up and asleep. She unzipped the top and I looked in. They all stayed asleep except for one who sat up and licked my hand. It was the same puppy from the photo!!!!!!!

All the puppies were so cute. Papa really felt a connection to one of them called Stonker. We considered getting both but decided to just focus on one. We hope Stonker goes to someone in Canberra so we can have playdates.
I have decided to call my pup Loki. On Friday we will be taking him home. I am very happy that we will have a dog again. We took a shirt of mine that I had slept in and left it with Emily. She will put it with him to sleep with every night before we pick him up. That way he will bond with me.
