The Kings Arms, Sandford-on-Thames

The first part of the walk took us up to Sandford and our only planned stop of the day at the King’s Arms pub went without event. It was a lovely sunny morning and the terrain was very friendly. We quite liked the King’s Arms – it had a great riverside location which required us to cross Sandford Lock first, and of course afterwards too. When we left though, a boat was coming through.
