The Beetle and Wedge, Moulsford

During today’s walk, we were still mainly walking on the edges of fields but a few made paths and a short run entering Moulsford where there was a very narrow section by the railway and then a dull bit along The Street (not the most imaginative name ever it must be said).

Before we left Moulsford we stopped for a drink or two at the beautifully named Beetle & Wedge Boathouse – a place where they’ll send a little “ferry” to your boat if you’re coming for lunch and having to moor up on the other side of the river. How the other half live, eh!Read more
