Leave home (finally)

Jersey wasn’t keen to let us leave. We were due to leave on Tuesday 5th, but fog had meant only one plane left the island on the Monday and none at all on the Tuesday, but fortunately (I think that’s the right word) we were notified about our flight cancellation early enough before we had left for the airport. We spent the whole day watching the weather and the airport webcam, but something in the weather made me think we’d be ok.Read more
