Achmelvich Beach

One thing we'd always planned to do somewhere along this trip was visit the beach and this took place a little off the beaten track at Achmelvich Beach, west of Lochinver. In this case, the photos showing a very white sandy beach on a pretty hot day absolutely so this justice. You could totally mistake the spot for somewhere in, say, Cyprus with the weather to watch.

The only negative really was the very very aggressive flying insects trying to take a chunk out of us at every opportunity. But it absolutely didn't spoil the moment which was really quite special and unexpected.En savoir plus
