Arrive into Krakow

Krakow airport was a very relaxed place to land. Quite a compact feeling airport which meant the car hire place wasn't too far away from anything and nor was the car park we got our car from.

The only wrinkle which should have really been expected was that it was a left hand drive car and quite a large-ish one at that so it was a bit daunting driving it. But I settled in to a rhythm with it quite quickly.

One weird thing though - Polish speed limits. Again, they're generally ignored but perhaps not to the extent of those in Italy, but it's more their practicality. It wasn't uncommon to have three speed limit changes in 100 metres. It just felt nit picky, unnecessary and goes to breaking up concentration a bit.Meer informatie
