On the way to the station we walked on the path between the station and the Thames Path itself. This path actually was the side of a field of sheep. Lovely sheep except on this occasion oneLue lisää
The first full day of our trip saw a pleasant start walking through lots of fields. The sheep who had got himself stuck had clearly found the enormous gap under the gate dividing the fields andLue lisää

We entered the village of Ashton Keynes about a mile early due to a mapping failure somewhere but a pint was still welcome at about the halfway point in theLue lisää
One cool thing in the village though was at its outskirts – a very wholesome-looking honesty box just entering the village.
Had we been walking longer today then we could have just done with a pub coming up but in the end, when we finally arrived in Cricklade we found the pub we were staying in very quickly and a veryLue lisää
