    Our first experience in Cairo, a night show beside the Giza Pyramids and SphinxWe're in EGYPT, unbelievable, our once in a life time trip come true!Giza Pyramids - daytime, biggest pyramid in Egypt.Truley incredible, each of these huge pillars brought, shaped and put together to creat this!!Check out the size of these layers of rock, transported, shaped and placed over 5,000 years ago!!!Loving it! Just so amazing to actually be here!Dad lookin good at the Giza Pyramids 2023Dad hanging with the Egyptian Pyramids!9 pyramids in Giza altogether, highest 147 M.Went for a camel ride, great young guide, we taught him the haka!Wow, I'm on a camel, in the Egyptian dessert!We enjoyed this moment!! We're doing it!! Our once in a lifetime world trip!Look at the size of a human to these pyramids!The name of the Sphinx is Kaffron, meaning Living Image! over 5,000 years old!KAFFRON!!The step pyramid is the oldest in Egypt.Environment of Egypt!

    Pyramids of Giza, the oldest Pyramids in Egypt, mind blowing how they created these, the wheel hadn't even been invented, Massive rocks brought in from hundreds of miles away to chip and fit to build these truley magnificient structures, they used to be covered in Lime and glowed with a triangluar tip of a metal that was a becon to space, all placed according to celestial points. The Sphinx equally mind blowing, but so much damage from thousands of years of feudalism. From days of the greatest creations of mankind on earth to today, massive poverty in Egypt today, 28 Million people in Cairo alone, Whew!! Overwhelming and not safe for tourists, lots of harrassment on the streets, you need a guide to be safe! 8 Egyptian pound to 1 NZ dollar - $20 equals a pile of notes there! Security in our hotels intensive. The war of Israel and Gaza broke out 2 days after we returned home!!En savoir plus

    Totally beautiful Egyptian womens clothing, just like Cleopatra wore!!An ornately carved Pharoahs speaking stand!Nile river, life force of Egypt!Overnight train from Cairo to Luxor, very old and poor facilitiesPhilae Temple, Greek and Roman designs on columns, all temples built on west side where sun sets!Truly, this was the staircase to our room on the boat, River Nile, Egypt!Top of the boat, swimming pool, River Nile, Egypt.Kuri out wandering the dessert!Abu Simble, biggest tombs on this trip, Ramses 111 and wife Nefatari, all was actually relocated.WHAT!! Can u believe this, we're right here!! 2023

    Nile River and Abu Simbel. We had a cabin on a large floatilla boat. It must of slept at least 100 people, three story high with restaurants, pools, gaming tables. All the entertainments. From the boat we did day trips over to the temples, Thomb sites, Markets and all we couild see in the hot highs of Egypt. Much grandure but also huge poverty.En savoir plus
