Canoeing day 5 - boundary waters last da

Last day; Day 5. 2 lakes. Alpine, Seagull. 1 portage 20rod/p. We accidentally went through a closed portage which made it a bit more of an adventure then originally planned. But we made it and everyone was in the water walking the canoe through. Seagull was our last lake and there were some pretty nice cabins. We got picked up by our outfitter and he said they close down end is September and don’t reopen until may. The lakes do freeze over in the winter. Overall we had great weather, good canoeing, adventurous portages, swimming every day, some fish and great camping food. It was great.Leggi altro
