Day 2 Madigan FBC and camping at JC Ruin

Still on my way to Birdsville. A looooong drive and then still have to cross the Simpson Desert... camping about 300km from Birdsville at my favourite campsite. It is surprisingly empty given that it is a few days until the Big Red Bash.
Named after the JC Hotel which was pretty popular hereabouts and attracted all the local workers. The farmer eventually got tired of having to go to the hotel to gather up his workers that he bought the hotel and removed the roof. Nature did the rest.もっと詳しく
