Short day of riding though on busy, hilly roads. Managed to find our Riad without too much trouble. Wander around, find a drink or two and have nice dinner.

Day spent touring the city. Lots of reconstruction going on. Two small museums where the buildings were as interesting as the exhibits.
Fes

Took the train to Fes. Bigger and more polished city than Meknes. Many beautiful gates and doors, though guards would not let us take photos. Other sights included the tanneries and ancient tombs.
Rabat

Enjoyed quieter parts of Rabat. Though we couldn’t go inside Chellah, the walls and the birds were quite impressive. Also couldn’t get in to see the palace or the museums (because of holiday).Weiterlesen

Marvelous bike path along the water leads us out of Rabat. Pass by a vet different side of Morocco - a wealthier side. Seem the king also has a lovely palace/compound on the coast as well. A camelWeiterlesen

A rainy day

Dragged ourselves away from the 15 cats and nice stove and rode to Jerez. Though heavy rain at times, it was dry most of the time. Sandy ride through park. Opted to hop on the train and go to Sevilla.

A nice return to Sevilla - visiting parts of the city we had not seen last time. A walk along the canal, Flamenco museum and of course - food.
