Sitting at about 1600m, on a ridge, exposed to some wild weather up here. Not looking to tonight’s sleep. Weather forecast states up-to 20km winds and no rain. Hope so, otherwise going to be a miserable night. Can’t pull out the awning will get blown away no matter how much you tie it down. And the blow flies are huge.Read more
TravelerYou weren’t far from us! We were at Dinner Plain last night - Scrubbers End car park. No wind, so it must have been coming up the other side of the mountain. Luckily the rain held off for you and hopefully you got some sleep. We drove down to Smoko Campground between Harrietville and Bright this morning so just missed you. Have fun up on the tracks. It is stunning countryside up there. 👍
