Linisa and I on the road 🚙 LĂ€s mer
  • Cronulla

    8 november 2019, Australien ⋅ ⛅ 29 °C

While we spent some lazy days in Sydney, we planned to go on a trip together with 2 guys we know from school that are in Australia too. To pass the hours we had to wait for them to come back from work to plan the next few days we walked around the peninsula of Cronulla.
The day ended with fun talks but less of a plan. The plan consisted of us saying that we would come back the next day to pick them up.
Let‘s hope that everything works out! 😂

  • Day 1 with the boys

    9 november 2019, Australien ⋅ 🌙 15 °C

Our day started by waiting together with Rafael for one hour in their Hostel because Till was Not ready showering.
Then we took off down the coast to the Royal National Park and decided to do a Cliff walk to „Eagle Rock“. Can you spot it?
It was really fun for all of us, except Rafael. As we would find out, because he told us what felt like every 5 minutes, he doesn‘t really like walking. But playing soccer for 5 hours sure is something completely different!⚜
We had some great talks again and ended our day by eating wraps and figuring out how to fit 4 people into our little Tony. It actually worked! Wasn‘t really comfortable for all of us but it worked!

  • Day 2 with the boys

    10 november 2019, Australien ⋅ ☁ 17 °C

This morning we made our way back to Royal Nationalpark. Our destination today: the famous Figure 8 Pools! Unfortunately we didn‘t see them.â˜č Even though it was low tide they were still pretty flooded and the waves hitting the cliffs were brutal that day. We sat there for a few hours and saw people getting washed away multiple times. Happily nothing happened to them except for scrapes. The hike down there led us climbing over wet rocks and the way back was the steepest we did so far but it was worth it even though we couldn’t see nor swim in the pools!LĂ€s mer

  • Day 3&4 with the boys

    11 november 2019, Australien ⋅ 🌙 14 °C

On day 3 we drove to a wildlife park. We saw many fascinating animals such als multiple snakes, red pandas, crocodiles, meerkats and many more but the stars were the kangaroos & wallabies and the wombat of course! We spent most of our time feeding the wallabies and kangaroos and they were much to sweet. But my personal highlight was seeing a cheetah run around his enclosure and playing with itself.
Oh, and we saw our biggest fear again, a cossowary. We ended our day by introducing Quinoa to the boys and were surprised they actually liked it!
The next and last day we decided to spend in the Blue Mountains. So we drove there all 3 hours just to drive back to Sydney because everything was closed because of all the bushfires that were raging in Australia. Back in Sydney we spent the rest of our day at the beach and said goodbye in the evening after eating together.
Those were some fun, interesting but very, VERY chaotic 4 days.đŸ€—

  • The way down to Melbourne

    15 november 2019, Australien ⋅ ☀ 26 °C

On our way to Melbourne we stopped at Minnamurra Beach, the Kiama Blowhole and Jervis Bay.
In Minnamurra is a River that ends in the sea which is said to look really beautiful but we didn‘t find the actual place so we only walked along the beach.
The Kiama Blowhole is a hole in the cliffs through which water gets catapulted upwards when waves crash at the cliffs.
In Jervis Bay are said to be the whitest and most beautiful beaches of the world.

  • Melbourne

    22 november 2019, Australien ⋅ ☁ 14 °C

Linisa and I spent our first day in Melbourne with relaxing in the pool of the caravan park because 40°C was just too hot to walk around in the city.
On our second day we explored the city.
Melbourne is so beautiful and full of graffiti. The most beautiful street was „AC/DC lane“.
Our evening consisted of laying in the park and listening to musicians doing soundchecks for the Melbourne Music Week.

  • Great Ocean Road Day 1

    27 november 2019, Australien ⋅ ☀ 19 °C

After we did a fast drive to Adelaide we started our trip back to Melbourne over the Great Ocean Road and it‘s the most spectacular thing we did. The first day was full of tourist sightseeing. We visited all the tourist attractions such as the „Twelve Apostles“. We kept driving 5-30 minutes between every attraction.LĂ€s mer

  • The Grampians

    28 november 2019, Australien ⋅ ⛅ 18 °C

The next day we took a break of driving the Great Ocean Road and went into the Grampians Nationalpark. It was a bit rainy and cloudy but it was still a great experience hiking in these mountains. Nothing spectacular happened so I don‘t have much to say other than it was beautiful as quiet.đŸ„°LĂ€s mer

  • Great Ocean Road Day 2

    29 november 2019, Australien ⋅ ⛅ 11 °C

On our second day driving the Great Ocean Road it was mich more cloudy than the day before but it still was pretty amazing. I didn‘t take many photos or videos because it didn‘t look good on the camera (and because of a concrete mixer that didn‘t want to leave us alone) but here are some expressions.LĂ€s mer
