We had a longish train trip to Zurich with zero complications or delays, which was nice. Once we arrived we ate some lunch, checked into our hotel, and then wandered about the city for a while. Dinner was Swiss fondue - good but very rich!

The second morning we got up early and walked 13 miles - up to the top of a couple of nearby mountains and then back down. It was warm and sunny, but with lots of trees it was perfect weather. Beautiful views of Zurich, Lake Zurich, and into the alps, as you might expect.

Once back in town we bought some chocolate, visited a church, and had some dinner. Another great day.

It occurs to me that I missed the opportunity to call this blog “From Assisi to Zurich.” It’s been a pretty fantastic trip!Baca selengkapnya
