Out to 'Opal' Reef from Port Douglas using Calypso divers. We decided to go out from Port Douglas instead of the larger tourist boats from Cairns. Our first dive team about 9m deep ... pictures takenWeiterlesen
Picked up another relocation van from Apollo and on our way again (much better to be on the road) Stopped at Mission Beach. Lovely .. Lovely place , and beachfront houses only cost 400,000 .. bargain.
visited whitehaven beach ... 5km of amazing white silica sand, Bowen Beach near Airlie, and one of the 72 whitsunday islands
Stayed overnight at Awonga lake .. great for fishing. Awonga Lake .... home of the Barramundi .. a very large fish !
We visited Fraser Island and this is the ONLY way around ... all the tracks are sand and 4wheel is a must, there is a tropical rain forest at the heart of fraser .. amazing when the island is made upWeiterlesen
Hervey Bay to see some whales, this is a rare picture .. two coming up at the same time to have a look .... an amazing experience, they are fun to watch even if the trip was a little rough at times
this is a beach just outside Noosa Head where we stayed one night before going to Brisbane
reached Brisbane after driving 2,025 km from Cairns ... lovely ride down the coast. Luckily we were around for the annual river fireworks
