    We made it back across the straight in some pretty rocky conditions with rain pouring at multiple points. We got talking to a lovely woman from Mangere, originally from Samoa who shared with us a lot about the way of life in Samoa.

    Our tummies were telling us it was time to eat again and we had a lot of time to kill. I'd seen Bella's Kitchen as a recommended spot so we made our way there. They did not disappoint! We both opted for the fish burger which was absolutely delicious and fresh!En savoir plus

    Taumeasina Island Resort 2.0

    We still had sooo much time to kill before dropping off Seiki 🛵 and heading to the airport so we went where we felt comfortable and headed back to Taumeasina Island Resort for a drink.
    It felt so different being there as a non staying guest but we enjoyed a beer and some entertainment of a lady going off at the activities workers and the security being called 😬En savoir plus

    Last Petrol Stop and Bye Seki 🛵

    We stopped off to get petrol on the way to dropping off the scooter. Our mate Fritz met us at the office and made sure that the scooter was very much on the down low!
    He called his mate Mikey to pick us up and take us to the airport for a great price.
    10 minutes into the ride we realised Sam still had the key in his pocket. No problem, Seki. Fritz met us on the side of the road to pick it up.
    We watched the sun go down on Samoa for the final time as all the kids played and Samoa really seemed to come alive!    En savoir plus

    Dealyed Flights and Mince Pies

    We got to the Airport extra early as there really wasn't much else to do. When we arrived we found out the flight was delayed and the arrival time was after 2am! Nothing we could do. We walked the 4 shops looking how we could spend our last talas and Sam opted for a mince and cheese pie.

    Auckland!

    We made it home to New Zealand on very little sleep but glad to be home. It was the quickest and easiest customs experience ever and we were out of the terminal within 20 mins. Back to the car and ready to drive home 😴😴En savoir plus
