Camino 2021

The alubias blancas are one of our favorite meals we remember from our last time on the camino. An unassuming bar-restaurant here in Frómista prepared the most amazing plate of alubias blancas. You wouldn't think we'd want a giant bowl of hot beans after today's 25k hike in the hot sun, but it was perfect.

There is a well-restored church from 1066 here. The presentation does a particularly good job of explaining the restoration and exactly how they knew what it should look like.
