Sun and snow in Seegrube

After taking in the beautiful views at the Hungerberg station, we changed to a cable car for the rest of the trip. This kind of ride terrifies me, but I really wanted to stand at the top of the Alps...so it was onward and upward. I am so glad I pushed through. It was amazing at the Seegrube station (6250 ft). They have Sun chairs on the edge of the mountain where you can relax and watch skiers and snow boarders.
We just couldn't get enough of the gorgeous views. There is a restaurant there, too, so you know Brian and I had to try that! We ate soup and I had water infused with edelweiss. (Do you have the Sound of Music song stuck in your head now?)Les mer
