Resting During Concert Block 2

So after last night I was so exhausted. I needed to go to bed early and just have some me time. I was so cranky and I can't explain how exhausted I really was. I decided I wanted to go to the pool, but it was full of children, so I decided to go back upstairs and watch some TV.

I called liezl and talked with her a bunch, and went to sleep at a decent hour.

All last night I was restless, not sure why. My sleep wasn't restorative, so I felt pretty crummy. I did have some coffee, and it helped wake me up quite a bit, which I was glad for.

So now, I'm back in the hotel taking a break so I can handle our concert performance, (after all, that is a big reason we are here,)

Tonight is the banquet, and I have a friend coming so, it will be exciting to share it with her.

I've learned this little while that it's important for me to go off alone on my own to rest so I'm able to have fun and enjoy the moments I do participate in. After all, if I feel miserable, I won't enjoy the moment and activities I'm involved in.
