Par to Looe

It was bucketing down this morning and the forecast did not look good, so we settled on Plan D (the previous versions being ditched due to the scheduled length of today’s walk: almost 30 km!), which was to take a train to Looe (via Liskeard, where platform 3 is on a different station from platforms 1 and 2), then walk to Polperro. As it turned out the weather was pretty good and we did our walk to Polperro then on to Crumplehorn where we caught a bus back to our hotel, Hannafore Point Hotel, which is actually on the point and we even have a room overlooking the ocean. Lovely!

Pretty villages and scenery; lots of people walking who wanted a chat! We’re often called antipodeans (or girls).
