Oregon in August ’26

Sitting in the airport, there’s always a bit of a sense of loss at having the vacation come to an end, while still looking forward to getting home to the familiar. After driving around 1800+ miles in our rental car, climbing over 250 flights of stairs, and walking approximately 26 miles, we definitely saw a lot of Oregon. There is probably a lot more to see, but so glad we came, making fun summer memories before jumping back into school and our busy daily routines!

Just for fun, we asked ChatGPT to overlay the big island of Hawaii onto Oregon, as our trip there last spring was a lot of driving as well. By comparison, it's almost uncanny how the island outline almost exactly follows our coverage of Oregon. As Eric said, "I love the vacation, but it's a lot of driving!"Leggi altro
