Avila is a medieval city about 100 km from Madrid which dates back to pre Roman times of 5th century BC and is now a unesco site.

Roman aquaduct. Amazing sight.
The part in the photo is about 700meters long but the whole aquaduct (which was built a couple of thousand years ago) is 16km long.
