We spent a fantastic afternoon with Jacqui and Terry walking the length of the Southern promenade, and having a great seafood lunch! It brought back many childhood memories.

This morning we had a last coffee with Jacqui, finally met the elusive Stacey, who was just as delightful as the rest of the family, packed up, and drove into the heart of London.

Sloane square

Leaving Battersea we walked through Sloane and up Sloane Street, which looked pretty amazing.
Hyde Park

Our walk continued on through Hyde Park. Incredible to think that this huge, beautiful park is in the middle of one of the largest, busiest cities in the world!

We expected a bit of historical stuff, but it is a big theatrical production. Very good, lots of fun!

Brilliant place!

This time we were lucky enough to catch the changing of the Guard!
Very cool.
Queenie never came out to welcome us though, I was a bit surprised.
Westminster Abbey

Beautiful building but no photos allowed so we didn't go in..

Surprise, surprise.. didn't see ANYBODY doing any work 😀
St Paul's Cathedral

Looked awesome from the outside, but they wouldn't allow photos so we didn't go in...
The British museum

We spent most of the day wandering around the amazing British museum.
So much to see in there, it is mind boggling.
And free, AND you can take photos!
The London Underground

We've been using the tube all this week, so this afternoon I thought I'd take a few snaps.
Can't say that I've seen too many pictures of the depths before 😀
Back Home!

Home again..
It's been a blast!
The flight home was a bit subdued, but quite comfortable, as we wangled a bit of extra seat space all the way!
