Another drizzly day but not nauseous up the waterway! So pretty!! With lots of dolphins to keep us company! Stay safe friends and family and anyone else!!
Sailed out of Key Largo around 4pm yesterday and just got into Fort Pierce now! 24 hours of Ocean sailing and it was beautiful...until it wasn’t! About 5 hours ago we made the call to head inside to the waterway instead of another 12 hours past Cape Canaveral in unpredictable weather! Tom and Pat were on shift, fixing some dingy straps went the wind picked up from 18 knots to 27!! Quick! All hands on deck, pulled in the jib, reefed the mainsail and tried to keep bfast or dinner from becoming fish food off the side of the boat!! All except Pat, she’s feeling good after some deep sleep! We heard their may have been a whale sighting in the night and definitely got a hello from some dolphins!! All is well for now!! Making our way up the waterway! Till the next update!!
I wonder how RV crew is?Read more
Of course we didn’t get off the dock at 830 am!!!
After a medical visit, more food loading, a trailer pickup, dogs fed, chocolate cake for breakfast, spotting of the local sleeping nurse sharks and more crew shenanigans we plan to sail out around 3 pm!! Chuck, our land support has pulled thru with every chart plotted and weather spotted! Communication is at an all time high people!! Where’s the freaking bathroom key?? 🤣🤣🤷🏼♀️ I think everyone he enough coffee!
Also I totally got a quick shower in!! Yaaaaaaasssss
This!! This is what could happen!! Ok off to planning! I think???
Stay tuned for more operation RV to tropics but no swimming and back!!
Reunited and it feels so warm!!! (80 degrees) An 8 pm Arrival time sent the team scurrying in different directions!! After we unloaded the snowbirds, loaded enough food for a month long voyage and tried to hook up the RV to electricity but totally tripped the hotels power (I mean nothing happened)... we had a cold one and cake in celebration of grandpas 87th Birthday!!! Wow!! Now some of the team needs some sleeeeeeeeeeeeep!!

So after the noisy city of Bangladesh we touched in Oman to...... the glorious city of Muscat that was clean and quiet! I have to say I didn’t know what to expect here but I loved it! The roads here are ranked 8th in the world and there isn’t anybody on the road really! It is a desert like climate with mountainous rock formations everywhere on the coast! Also got to experience a great shawarma and some delicious avocado juices! Here are a few photos!
