Reunited and it feels so warm!!! (80 degrees) An 8 pm Arrival time sent the team scurrying in different directions!! After we unloaded the snowbirds, loaded enough food for a month long voyage and tried to hook up the RV to electricity but totally tripped the hotels power (I mean nothing happened)... we had a cold one and cake in celebration of grandpas 87th Birthday!!! Wow!! Now some of the team needs some sleeeeeeeeeeeeep!!

  • Key Largo to Fort Pierce FL

    June 2, 2020 in the United States ⋅ ☁️ 26 °C

    Aloha!!
Sailed out of Key Largo around 4pm yesterday and just got into Fort Pierce now! 24 hours of Ocean sailing and it was beautiful...until it wasn’t! About 5 hours ago we made the call to head inside to the waterway instead of another 12 hours past Cape Canaveral in unpredictable weather! Tom and Pat were on shift, fixing some dingy straps went the wind picked up from 18 knots to 27!! Quick! All hands on deck, pulled in the jib, reefed the mainsail and tried to keep bfast or dinner from becoming fish food off the side of the boat!! All except Pat, she’s feeling good after some deep sleep! We heard their may have been a whale sighting in the night and definitely got a hello from some dolphins!! All is well for now!! Making our way up the waterway! Till the next update!!
I wonder how RV crew is?
