Our AirBnB in Nikko had very few rooms and offered an amazing Onsen (hot natural spring water) bath and delicious dinner/breakfast made by the owner himself
Toshogu Shrine

The Toshogi shrine is the biggest in Japan, and is already very crowded as soon as it opens. Many japanese pupils come here with their teachers to learn more about Japan's history

Nakasendo trail: Narai

The Nakasendo trail dates back to the Edo period. The main street is still home to traditional wooden houses and shops. Our first stop was Narai-juku.

Going further along the path, we followed 8km of the trail on foot. This famous section between Tsumago and Magome is one of the most impressive and charming ones.
