    This was just such a beautiful museum I wanted to capture as much as I could for future memories.
    When we left thus museum, we just started walking along the coast. After a mile or so, we decided to try out the 'Lime' scooters and made our way to Smith Cove.Read more

    Panoramic view from the ferry.A ferry just like ours headed back & w/ stunning backdrop.Approaching the island -- look at those mountains in the background!!During our walk we passed the Bainbridge Rowing Club.Pia the Peacekeeper, art installation by Thomas Dambo.This was a beautiful residential street we stumbled on. What landscaping!Same street looking the other way.Another beautiful experience when all landscape pics have at least one mountain in the background.This is the remains of an old sawmill.The shoreline of the former mill have the remains of a significantly sized pier.Memorial to the Bainbridge Japanese-Americans forcibly removed from their homes during WW2.....At the ferry landing, depicting their final steps away from their home & toward an uncertain future.

    Last day in Seattle. We hopped the ferry for the ~35 min ride to Bainbridge. A beautiful island!
    We started out on foot but saw a bike shop, wandered in and decided to rent some e-bikes. One of our best decisions!!Read more

    Went to Fisherman's Restaurant, had an excellent meal, then retreated to our rooftop to watch the sun set. With the traditional cloudy Seattle weather in play during our stay, it was a treat to be able to see at least one sunset!Read more

    Farewell Seattle, hello Home!

    120 days after our initial departure, we now head home. What an amazing experience. Feeling enormously blessed to have been able to do something like this. 🤗
