A great and very typical German town with a street market throughout today. Stalls and shops filled with amazing German food. Our last stock up point before crossing into France tomorrow.
MatkaajaThere is o much to love about German food, fridge and freezer full. Just left enough room to pick up some french butter! Hummm...Oktoberfest...just wasn’t our thing. It was really just a big fair ground with added beer halls that were enormous, overcrowded, frantic and loud. We found a tiny corner outside one beer hall, had a beer and a chat with a french family and 2 South Korean guys and then left. Too busy/crowded, but we had to give it a go. Headed into Munich for the rest of the day, much more relaxed having a beer and schnitzel at the Hofbrauhaus! 🍺🍺🍺

Back at one of the very best campsites we’ve ever been in. It’s not as busy as in July but there are about 2,000 naked campers here and the weather is ok for now. To their credit, the campsite isLue lisää
MatkaajaHey, no we’re not. We’ve included at least one naturist campsite in each summer for about 4 years and it’s always been great, even when the camp itself is a bit rubbish. It’s very relaxing, friendly and quiet even in the buzz of July. And no laundry to do. Cheers, Alan
MatkaajaNaturist campsites are about as equalising an environment as you can get, you get people of all ages, sizes and shapes...nobody cares. Kids seem happier, possibly because they don’t have to worry about coming back to mum/dad with ripped, dirty clothes and the only washing to done are the dishes, so more relaxing time for everyone. You guys should try it, you may be surprised. Or, try a German textiles free spa, it’s a way to ease into naturist lifestyle (if you haven’t tried it before)....we can recommend a spa in Erding, near Munich if you ever pass that way. Cheers Ali
